Selwyn House School is a well-established independent day and boarding school for girls, aged 5-13 years and a co-educational Pre-school. We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Communications Co-ordinator to join the Selwyn House community. Communications Co-ordinator has the primary purpose of supporting the Business Development & Marketing Manager.
Skills and Experience:
-This will be a very busy and exciting role, which will suit someone with a creative flair, excellent organisation and communication skills and a great multi-tasker.
-Has an eye for design & can assist in design and content creation
-Excellent work ethic strong customer service and administrative skills
-A strong communicator, who understands the importance of the written word, how it can convey a story with interest, empathy and care.
-Comfortable working independently & being part of a team.
-Strong computer literacy and the ability to embrace new technology and software, including some understanding of web management, social media, or the ability to learn quickly.
It would be advantageous if the candidate had:
-Ability to operate Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator).
-Qualifications in a related discipline (Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism) or equivalent experience.
The position will be 20 hours per week (4 days a week) permanent part-time.
