Scholarship applications for the 2021 school year are now being accepted.
The application deadline is 4 pm Friday 15 May 2020.
Selwyn House School offers scholarship opportunities to both internal and external candidates who are New Zealand residents. Scholarships offered shall be awarded according to merit. All completed scholarship applications need to be returned by the due date, no late applications will be accepted. There is no charge for sitting the scholarship examinations.
Please note the Junior All Rounder Scholarship (Years 1–3) and the Boarding Scholarship are only open to external applicants.
The value of awarded scholarships ranges from 25 - 50% towards a reduction of tuition or boarding fees.

Girls starting in Year 5 during the 2021 school year are eligible to apply for the Academic scholarship. The scholarship is valid for Year 5, 6, 7 and 8.
All applicants entering into Year 5 are required to sit the academic examination.
Girls starting in Year 6 or 7 during the 2021 school year are eligible to apply for the following scholarships: Academic, All Rounder, Boarding, Music, Performing Arts and Sport. Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of three years.
All applicants entering into Year 6 or 7 are required to sit the academic examination.
In addition to the academic exam, applicants applying for the Sport, Music or Performing Arts scholarships may be asked to attend a separate audition or interview at the school. Individual results of all examinations and auditions will remain confidential to the school. Internal and external applicants are asked to complete the same scholarship application.
Girls, who do not currently attend Selwyn House and will be a New Entrant or in Year 1, 2 or 3 in 2021 are eligible to apply for the Junior All Rounder Scholarship. Please refer to the scholarship application for more details regarding eligibility criteria and process. This scholarship is valid until the student completes Year 6.
The Selwyn House School Alumni (formally The Selwyn House Old Girls’ Association) has bursaries available. The application for any Alumni bursaries will close at the same time as the Selwyn House School scholarships. No late applications will be accepted.

The Selwyn House Alumni offers a $2,000 per annum bursary for two years for a new student of Selwyn House School (coming into any year level) and who is the daughter of a current Alumni Life Member.
The Alumni also offers a boarding bursary of $500 per term, for two years, for a new Year 7 student to the school, enrolling as a boarder and who is the daughter of a current Alumni Life Member.

OPEN DAY 2020
Open Days will be held from 9am - 12 noon on Monday 16 March and Monday 11 May. Guests at Open Day have the opportunity to meet the Principal, Deputy Principal, and speak with current parents. Tours are provided by current Senior School students.

Personal tours are scheduled by the Enrolments Co-ordinator and customised to the needs of each prospective family. Tours are provided by either the Deputy Principal or the Enrolments Coordinator.
Senior Showcase will be held 13 May 2020 at 6:30 - 7:30 pm. This event is for families and guests of students currently in Years 5-7. The evening will showcase the philosophy and strengths of our Senior School and highlight how we provide the best possible academic and personal preparation for high school. Space is limited please register before 6 May to attend.
