The scholarship applications for the 2019 school year are now being accepted.
The application deadline is 4 pm Friday 18 May 2018.
Selwyn House School offers scholarship opportunities to both internal and external candidates who are New Zealand residents. Scholarships offered shall be awarded according to merit.
There is no charge for sitting the Scholarship examinations and students do not need to be pre-enrolled to sit the examinations. All applicants need to complete the Scholarship Application forms and return these by the due date. All candidates will sit the examinations / auditions at the school on the dates below. Individual results of the examinations will remain confidential to the school.

The Junior All Rounder Scholarship
Please note the Junior All Rounder Scholarship (Years 1-3) and the Boarding scholarship is only open to external applicants.
Selwyn House Old Girls’ Association – Bursary
The Selwyn House Old Girls’ Association (SHOGA) offers a $2,000 per annum bursary for two years for a new entrant to the school (coming into any year level) and who is the daughter of a current SHOGA life member. SHOGA also offers a boarding bursary of $500 per term, for two years, for a new Year 7 student to the school, enrolling as a boarder and who is the daughter of a current SHOGA life member. An interview with the President of the Old Girls’ Association will determine the successful candidates. Important Dates and Information
All applicants (except those applying for the Junior All Rounder Scholarship, Years 1-3) will be required to sit the academic exam on 31 May 2018. Shortlisted candidates for the Junior All Rounder Scholarship will be invited for an interview on 31 May 2018.
On 5 June 2018 interviews and auditions for the Sports, Music and Performing Arts Scholarships will be held, more information regarding time and location will be provided after the scholarship deadline.
