	A tuition fee discount of 5% per annum is offered for your second child and 10% for the third and subsequent child when concurrently enrolled and prorated on fees actually paid. This discount is for students attending Selwyn House School only and is not applicable to siblings attending our Pre-school.

###### How much are school fees at Selwyn House?

					Annual tuition fees for 2026 range from $19,200 for Years 1-2 to $25,000 for Years 7-8. International student fees range from $38,500 to $41,500 per year. Full fee details, including payment options, are listed on our [School Fees page](https://selwynhouse.school.nz/school-fees/).

				
###### Are Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) and school camps included in the fees?

					Local field trips and standard day-to-day curriculum activities are covered by tuition fees. Major overnight EOTC experiences, such as annual year-level camps, are billed separately to accounts on a cost-recovery basis to allow for flexible options.

				
###### Is there a sibling discount?

					Yes. A 5% tuition discount applies for a second child enrolled at the same time, and 10% for the third and any subsequent children.

				
###### Are there payment plans available?

					Fees can be paid annually in advance or in 10 monthly instalments. For example, Years 1-2 fees are $19,200 annually or $1,920 per month over 10 months.

				
###### What does the Annual Development Levy cover?

					The Development Levy ($850 for one daughter or $980 for families with two or more daughters) directly funds the continuous upgrading of campus resources, high-specification digital infrastructure, and specialised educational facilities. This ensures our students always learn in an optimised environment without impacting day-to-day tuition funding.

				
###### What other costs should we budget for beyond tuition?

					There is a one-off application fee of $175 and an acceptance fee of $800. An annual Development Levy of $850 (one daughter) or $980 (two or more daughters) also applies. The levy can be paid monthly. Uniform, stationery, and optional extras like music tuition are additional.

				
###### What is the refund policy for international student fees?

					International student fees are refundable under specific criteria outlined in our standard International Student Contract, compliant with the Education Code of Practice. Notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing at least one full school term in advance to protect fee allocations.

				
###### What is the notice period required when leaving the school.

					A terms notice is required for all those leaving the school before the end of Year 8.
