About Selwyn House School
Selwyn House School is a leading New Zealand Girls’ school for Years 1–8.
Selwyn House School was founded in 1929 and is the only South Island Girl’s Primary School offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme.
OUR VISION
We inspire our students to learn through continuous inquiry, empowering them with the skills, knowledge, courage and optimism to become caring, active, lifelong learners who enhance the life of others.
OUR VALUES
Our core principles form the foundation of our actions. The International Baccalaureate (IB) designed the IB Learner Profile, a collection of qualities that all IB schools aim to cultivate in their students, staff, and community members. Selwyn House wholeheartedly embraces the IB Learner Profile, adopting these attributes as our schools' guiding principles. Our students and educators collaborate to embrace and nurture these characteristics within each other.
