Specialist Programme
Specialist subjects further develop a deeper understanding of each Unit of Inquiry while simultaneously expanding each student's skills and interests.
From day one, across all year levels, students are supported by a variety of specialist teachers who are considered experts in their chosen fields.
Spanish
As an International Baccalaureate (IB) school, we are committed to creating learning environments that expose students to different languages to develop international-mindedness and appreciation of other cultures. Students develop an improved capacity to think, talk and reflect on how languages work.
Music
Our Music curriculum inspires students to explore rhythm, melody, harmony, and composition. It builds an appreciation for different musical forms, genres and artistic expression. Our stimulating and challenging environment gives students the ability to express themselves creatively in ways that go beyond words.
Science
Science provides the opportunity for in-depth exploration of the living, physical and material worlds, as well as Planet Earth and beyond. To explore these areas, students are immersed in a well‑resourced, dedicated laboratory.
Mechatronics
Mechatronics is taught across all year levels, to ensure that each student is fully prepared to lead in a future that is heavy in technology. Girls learn the foundations of mechanical and electrical knowledge through activities such as creating robots, coding and building from upcycled materials.
Physical Education & Health
Physical Education & Health is about more than just student participation in sports and games. Its purpose is to develop a combination of transferable skills while promoting physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Students are supported to make connections to other curriculum areas.
Visual Arts
Students across all year levels explore the diverse world of visual arts through activities like drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art. Aligned with the PYP curriculum, this fosters creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper appreciation of global artistic expression.
Food Technology
Food Technology highlights innovation, sustainability and health. Additionally, as an International Baccalaureate (IB) school, it links to a variety of subjects, while promoting learning and critical thinking about ethical and environmental issues.
Performing Arts
Through Dance and Drama, students gain confidence, creativity and strong communication skills. Our PYP Performing Arts curriculum nurtures collaboration and the importance of a global mindset. Highlights of this learning are brought to life for the entire community with various annual and biennial productions.
