Activities
There is always something exciting to do in the Boarding House. Once school finishes, the Boarders come back to the Boarding House where they all sit around the dining table and have afternoon tea and chat about their day at school with the tutors.
Martin, our chef, offers a range of healthy snacks such as yoghurt, fruit, baking, smoothies and often the girls cook toast. Many of the girls will have sports practises or co-curricular activities after school with some going to dance classes throughout the city. From 4.30pm – 5.30pm the girls complete their homework with tutors in the Cybrary. Dinner is at 6pm and after dinner it is recreational time, with lights out between 8.30pm and 9pm.
In the weekends, some girls return home, others stay for their sporting commitments or to join in with the activities that are planned. We try to take advantage of living in a city and go to various cultural and sporting events. Other favourite activities include horse-riding, rock climbing, ice skating and cycling.
